The Western Connect Magazine - X (Twitter) outage

Second Major Disruption in a Day Affects Global Users

Social media platform X (formerly Twitter) suffered a second major outage on March 10, 2025, disrupting services for thousands of users worldwide. Reports indicate app crashes, login failures, and website issues across the US, India, UK, Australia, and Canada.

Global Outage Leaves Thousands Struggling to Access X

TWC Magazine: Social media platform X (formerly Twitter) outage struck again on March 10, 2025, marking the second major service disruption within hours. The widespread outage left users across the United States, India, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada unable to log in, access the app, or load the website.

According to Downdetector, reports of the X (Twitter) outage surged at 7:00 PM IST, affecting both web and mobile users. This comes after an earlier disruption at 3:20 PM IST, raising concerns about ongoing technical issues.

How the X (Twitter) Outage Affected Users

The latest X (Twitter) outage saw over 40,000 user complaints, with specific issues reported as follows:

✔️ 56% of users faced problems with the mobile app.
✔️ 33% experienced website access failures.
✔️ 11% encountered server connection errors.

The first outage earlier in the day resulted in 19,000+ reports, including 2,600 complaints from India alone.

X (Twitter) Remains Silent on Service Disruptions

Despite X (formerly Twitter) going down and affecting users worldwide, the platform has yet to release an official statement explaining the cause. While some regions have seen partial service restoration, many users still struggle with slow loading times and login failures.

As frustration mounts, thousands have turned to alternative social media platforms to express their dissatisfaction, calling into question X’s platform reliability.
