It offers a more convenient option for mothers during the crucial period of confinement, either postnatal or post-partum. The center’s founder, Suzita Wirjon, spoke to The Western Connect Magazine about the inspiration behind the business and the importance of postnatal care.
What inspired you to start Natalis Mother Care & Beauty?
After giving birth, I struggled throughout postnatal and had difficulty finding the right midwife to care for my baby and me during confinement. As I already have a background in beauty and spas, I decided to extend the business by providing confinement services as well. I don’t want other women to go through what I went through. It’s already a tough experience having to give birth, and one does not have to continue suffering after conceiving.”

What advice do you have for aspiring entrepreneurs?
Surround yourself with people that push you to do better. No drama or negativity. Just higher goals and higher motivation. Good times and positive energy. No jealousy or hate. It is simply bringing out the absolute best in each other.
