Tenbox: Securing fund from Choice Accelerator to accelerate growth plans and enhance its platform for F&B SMEs

The Western Connect Magazine - Reasmey Daneth, CEO and Co-founder of Tenbox
Interview with Reasmey Daneth, CEO and Co-founder of Tenbox. Congratulations on securing funding from Choice Accelerator! Tell us more about Tenbox and what inspired you to start this digital wholesale marketplace.

Thank you! Tenbox is a digital wholesale platform that connects retail store owners with suppliers of various products. We founded Tenbox because, as former food store owners, we faced difficulties finding different products from different suppliers at reasonable prices and with timely delivery. We wanted to make sourcing products easier and more efficient for small and medium-sized businesses in Cambodia.

Since launching in 2021, Tenbox has served hundreds of F&B businesses, including restaurants, coffee shops, marts, mini-marts, and mom & pop stores nationwide. Our platform has already accumulated 85,000 online visitors nationwide and has a customer return rate of 70% of its total orders. Currently, we have 10,000 products on the platform across all categories so that customers can source anything for their stores directly from distributors.

What does this investment from Choice Accelerator mean for Tenbox’s future growth and expansion plans?
This investment is a significant milestone as it enables us to enhance our digital products, tools, and marketplace, increase our product range, grow our team, and expand our fulfilment and delivery footprint to provinces nationwide. We are committed to being an industry leader and providing new knowledge, tips on know-how, and worth-to-know information that SME owners need help accessing. With the support of Choice Accelerator, we aim to achieve these goals and contribute to the growth of Cambodia’s developing startup ecosystem.

How does Tenbox use the funding to support its customers and the F&B industry in Cambodia?
We focus on providing a seamless experience for our customers and supporting the F&B sector in Cambodia. With the funding, we plan to invest in technology and expand our product range to meet the needs of our customers. We also plan to provide more educational resources and content to help SMEs in the industry grow and succeed. Our goal is to empower small businesses and contribute to the growth of Cambodia’s economy.

In closing, what’s next for Tenbox, and how can potential partners and investors get involved?
We are looking at the promising next step, leveraging our technology products and strategic partners to accelerate retail & SMEs in Cambodia. We welcome all kinds of resources from potential partners and investors to disrupt this supply chain together. We are excited about the future and can’t wait to see what’s next for Tenbox! In conclusion, the investment from Choice Accelerator is a significant boost for Tenbox’s growth and expansion plans. It aims to enhance its digital platform, increase its product range, and provide more educational resources and content to support SMEs in Cambodia’s F&B industry.
