TikTok is set to launch a new feature that will allow users to create AI-generated profile pictures, social media consultant Matt Navarra revealed. The Verge shared images and a video of the tool, giving users a sneak peek into the new offering. With this feature built into TikTok, users can expect to see more AI-made avatars on their feeds.
Users must submit three to ten photos and choose from two to five styles for the eventual AI-made photos to use the feature. After submission, the tool generates the images, which can be downloaded, used as an avatar, or posted on the user’s TikTok story. The agency initially creates headshots that resemble the ones seen on Prisma Labs’ Lensa app.
