Uber Freight Carrier Card now available for Fuel purchases

Uber Freight, the shipment marketplace, has launched a fintech tool called the Carrier Card, which can be used to make fuel purchases through the company’s platform. Powered by AtoB, a fleet card management platform, eligible carriers in Uber Freight’s network can now handle their fuel expenses on the app with no annual fees. AtoB’s CEO, Vignan Velivela, said the partnership with Uber Freight is a significant growth moment for companies and fleet operators across the U.S. Uber Freight now has over 100,000 carriers in its network servicing thousands of shippers. With the Carrier Card, eligible pages will enjoy same-day payouts, expense reporting, and acceptance at any fuel retailer that accepts Visa. According to Uber Freight CEO Lior Ron, the fintech tool brings same-day payments to wallets and supports better cash flow management for the future.
